EDITH

Pitch: EDITH is helping women worldwide procure fashion that fit their bodies and values to reduce overconsumption that leads to high rates of returned goods that cost retailers $743B, and the environment 15 million metric tons of CO2 emissions from transportation. Pollution disproportionately affects developing countries, 19x more to have inadequate water supply. By improving the upstream shopping experience, we will slow down the growth of fast fashion and reduce the downstream impact from fashion waste.

The walled garden problem, closed tech ecosystems, suffer from bureaucratic bloat that creates barriers to modernizing. While offering benefits like security, they hinder competition and innovation. Tech companies’ AI solutions, including LLMs, rely on limited models for personalization, falling short of AGI. Discovering alternative approaches demands a diverse skill set blending arts, humanities, and sciences, nonconforming with conventional limitations inherent to big tech companies.

EDITH is partnering with Stanford Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences on the world’s first doctor prescribed human-computer interface for women. Designed for personalization and improving self-image, it features a personal assistant that helps procure products that align with the user’s body type and values, ultimately aiming to reduce our carbon footprint.

EDITH’s R&D will provide invaluable insights into whether pre-visualization of a person’s self-image curated by an AI trained on their essence can help them make more intentional purchasing decisions and reduce overconsumption and returns.

EnergestAI

EnergestAI is revolutionizing energy conservation and climate sustainability through advanced Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) technology. Our innovative solutions empower users with personalized insights into their energy consumption patterns without the need for invasive hardware installations. By leveraging state-of-the-art NILM algorithms and AI-driven analytics, we provide real-time, actionable data to optimize energy usage, reduce carbon footprints, and promote sustainable living. Our mission is to foster a greener future by enabling individuals and businesses to make informed, energy-efficient decisions that contribute to global climate goals.

Pitch: Why should your start-up be featured at SustainTech?

EnergestAI should be featured at SustainTech because we are at the forefront of the sustainable energy revolution, providing innovative solutions that address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: energy conservation and climate change. Our Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) technology offers a unique and effective approach to understanding and managing energy consumption. By providing personalized, real-time insights, we enable users to make smarter, more sustainable choices that lead to significant reductions in energy usage and carbon emissions.

Our start-up stands out due to its combination of cutting-edge technology and a deep commitment to sustainability. We have developed a user-friendly platform that not only empowers individuals and businesses to optimize their energy usage but also educates them about the broader impact of their energy habits on the environment. Our solutions are scalable, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, from residential homes to large commercial facilities.

Featuring Energestai at SustainTech would showcase a company that is not only innovating in the field of energy management but also making a tangible impact on climate sustainability. Our participation would provide valuable insights into the future of energy conservation technologies and inspire other innovators to pursue sustainable solutions. We are driven by a vision of a greener future, and being featured at SustainTech would help us amplify our mission and reach a broader audience committed to environmental stewardship.

RainIons Corporation

Pitch: RainIons has developed a durable Coating Technology made from Naturally Reactive Material breaking apart CO2, NOX and GHG molecules passing through tailpipes, mufflers, flumes into a CLEAN exhaust. Unique values propositions for this climate technology are 1- continuous GHG removal at the source of exhaust 2- simple and rapid implementation 3- cost-effective, zero energy coating.

RainIons introduced a new paradigm for Sustainability and Impact as it ties sustainability to financial growth. Using a unexpensive solution and enabling industries to either lower costs tied to regulations or benefit from carbon credits, RainIons solutions offers both profitability and sustainability.

Swiss Vault USA, LLC

Swiss Vault builds software and hardware for sustainable, energy efficient data management. Swiss Vault’s platform reduces energy consumption, electronic waste, and CAPEX and OPEX costs by 50% for long-term data storage.

Pitch:  Data is an important driver for the global economy. Data produces significant cost savings in many sectors of the economy, resulting in faster productivity growth. Innovation in every economic and social sector relies on data to innovate, resulting in faster growth in living standards. However, digital information is being created, analyzed, and stored at an astonishing rate. 90% of the world’s data has been produced in just the last two years (ref: Techjury, https://bit.ly/3aDUjTi ). This explosion in data has real consequences for the planet’s environment.

Data storage & management now accounts for 3% of the global energy consumption, resulting in 3.7% of the global carbon output (Climatecare.org, https://bit.ly/3iZNyQ6). Swiss Vault has redesigned the data storage hardware and software to build a data management platform that reduces energy consumption by 50%, space utilization, and the complexity to manage these systems so that everyone can manage their own data assets with lower CAPEX and OPEX costs, and less impact on the environment.

Overall, with less energy, space, and cradle-to-grave product management, Swiss Vault lowers data’s carbon footprint by 10X.
