Head of Product Innovation, Smarter Grid Solutions at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc.

Kevin Morrissey is the Head of Product Innovation at Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS), A Mitsubishi Group Company. Kevin has been developing SGS’ product capabilities to capture new use cases and emerging technologies since 2017. He is responsible for expanding the role of advanced analytics such as forecasting & optimization into SGS’ suite of DERMS products, and for expanding the product capabilities through technology partnerships. He has previously developed building and behind-the-meter DER management software with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and worked in energy efficiency consulting with Guidehouse & DOE. He received his Master’s degree in Power Systems at the University of Washington.
